'Smoke'

 Life back in the village is getting worse amid covid 19 pandemic. It is at this point where you meet your old friends you schooled back in the days at primary level trying get a pattern of life. Some have advanced some are still there waiting for the Christ'  perhaps I consider them religious. In my village churches are built almost everyday at some point I consider due to the collapse in our economy and the congregants now seek spiritual intervention more, this is after the government and it's leaders neglected it's citizens grievances in broad daylight and introduced BBI which in the real sense favours the elected and increases number of government posts. Painful truth is common mwananchi is set to be taxed to enable government pay for added posts and to allow other government businesses run smoothly. A common citizen is struggling to put food on the table given the rate of unemployment ish high at this point. BBI is a hyped drive without vision but only focuses on the rich, dynasties are expanding their territories so as to be safe from hungry citizens who are lining up at their gates seeking for job opportunities not to enrich themselves but rather to sustain them to the next day. State of the nation is stumbling but it's leaders are busy roasting nyama choma in kajiado in the name of get together or rather we are the engine of the nation that without them we are going nowhere. We are in the middle of a pandemic ,Covid 19 has paralysed everything our economy is crippling ,we've lost investors,no more tourist, people have lost their jobs and it's everyone for his/herself. What makes everything looks like a joke is donation offered by other countries help our country fight the pandemic have been channelled to investigation department to be used in fraud investigation where they are trying bring to book those who stole the donation. Doctors are striking they lack special equipments to be used in fighting the disease, and one is storing the equipments or rather they channelled to other needy nation's. It is at this point where citizens feel to have a break of one month without all this drama but then it worries again by that time the nation would have been sold and we will be squatters in Zimbabwe. Our nation need prayers not only by the religious but also non-believers. 2021 should be a year of change where we will be nursing all this drama .
